Thanks so much for the report on this. Two of my favourite subjects; the structure of powerpoint and cinema. Indeed I would love to do an exhibition of “Great Powerpoints in History” and invite artists to imagine, reconstruct or riff on possible past efforts at winning the hearts of the board/assembly with powerpointed epistemology etc. There is a similarly rich critical awareness of how the forms of the chosen platform of knowledge sharing dictate, or limit, the range of possible discursive outcomes take place within the visual art context (I only mention because the vis arts conversation doesn’t leak as often into new media blogspace) – I really liked this effort: http://www.unitednationsplaza.org/seminar_zolghadr.html

I really liked Eboman’s presentation, nice movies he showed and that suit is superfunky! The others were a bit boring to me, but ok. Nice wrap up! kiss Dorris
