Feed Shark

Feed Shark is a service that will allow you to list your blog at the main blog services, such as Technorati, GeoUrl, and Weblogs.com. All you have to do is fill out the form in which you have to give the name and URL of the blog and the RSS URL, or/ and the podcast URL. The last two options are optional.

Next you will have to select the services that accept blogs, services that accept RSS feeds, and/or services that accept podcasts. This step is very easy, since you can select all services by using the “select all” button. Now you have to summit your entry and your blog will be listed at the selected services.

Finally, you can add the add a code to your blog to allow Feed Shark to track your submission.

—————————————–

To see how this program works, I have used the MLGK blog to list at all these services. I did not think it would be wise to select our blog, since the final URL is not in use yet. As soon as this URL is in use, I will list our blog at all services that allow blog and all RSS services. Then I will also investigate if the blog has been listed at all these services. This sounds like a good service to use. It’s very easy to use and it saves a blogger a lot time getting listed services that list blogs.

So I’ll update this post as soon as our new URL is available.

I have found another website on listable that I tried out:
    http://www.picato.net/

This is a website like flickr where people can post pictures of there cat. So after people get bored with their cat blog, they can continue here…. or even better… do it at the same time!

Of course I have made a profile for my cat and… for the competition minded like me…. Elmo is nearly the one with most pictures added! YEAH! ;) Just need to add 20 more and he is the winner…..

on a serious side: this is a website where one can share cat pictures with fellow cat lovers. I cannot see the advantages of this network though. There does not seem to be communication between the cat owners. There is not a forum on this website. There is an option to place comments on the photographs, but I have not seen a photo yet where a comment has been placed.

So that is too bad, I would like this website to be more interactive. Now it’s just a place where to store your pictures, so when your computer crashes, they are still stored on the web. Also, I find the subject too limited. I would recommend this to be a place for all pets and animals, so people can place pictures of all there beloved animals.

And I’ve tried another website on listible.com….
    http://www.wishlistr.com/home/

This is a place where people can make wishlists. My first thought was: oh my this is for little kids… or for greedy people!

But then I remembered my families x-mas rituals. We also make wishlists for everone, because we always buy presents for each member of the family and it’s a bit hard to be creative all the time…. and some of my family members need a little help… so in those cases the wishlist is handy…

it’s very easy to make. You just register, make a new wishlist, change the theme and add things to your wishlist by adding links. Therefore you can only add items if they are available online.

I made a modest wishlist for myself… just a few little things…. you can have a look at it over here:

    Looking forward to xmas! ;)

I just added my site to Feed Shark. I’m curious if anything will change in my stats.
