Aim
The aim of the course is to learn how to flesh out the anatomy of an argument, step by step, and also to evaluate the merits of the moves made. Special attention also is paid to learning how to map the relevant literature and the contemporary debates.

Contents
The research seminar seeks to develops a post-Deleuzian approach to the study of the control society. Building initially on the interpretations of Foucault and Deleuze in surveillance studies as well as hypertext theory (including the Internet of Things), the course readings focus on the appropriateness of a new set of theoretical concepts on how control is managed in the info-sphere, e.g., through ‘protocol.’
