About Pim van Bree
As a student of the MA New Media my emphasis lies on making the connection between new media and cultural implications. Together with my BA in media management and digital imagineering, and with a profession as web developer, I try to focus on three sides of New Media: the commercial relevance, cultural and critical analysis, and on the actual development and programming of online implementation. Regardless, I am also a sucker for film and series. Visit ghanso.com where you will find my blog.

Unlike Google Maps, Russia’s Yandex Карты is much more tourist friendly in that it does not blur your face away when you have been caught on camera! Yandex does not seem to uphold an evenly strict privacy policy as Google is imposed to do. A big help, as it assists me in taking touristic snapshots wherever I go.

You can view the map of my location, click the binoculars button (Панорамы) on the top right, and then click on the street to make it happen. Or go straight to me on street level.

Google map is the best, if you can use for following someone you know it will be so much fun but then again couples would misuse this to follow their partner everywhere he or she is going LOL
